Our website hopes to provide an insight into the everyday life of our school including the wonderful and unique opportunities that are afforded to the children of Scoil Chroí Íosa. The website also contains lots of valuable information for parents and those in the wider community.
Scoil Chroí Íosa is a provider of high quality education to students from Blarney and its surrounding area. As a professional body of teachers, the staff are committed to working in partnership with parents to ensure every child reaches their full potential in a happy and stimulating learning environment. The school aims to promote full and harmonious development of all aspects of the child. We foster a love of learning, working to the best of one’s ability and developing a sense of respect and responsibility amongst our pupils.
With the above in mind, I am always extremely grateful to the hard work and goodwill of our Parents, Pupils, Teachers, SNAs, Secretaries & Caretaker, as well as our Parents Association, Board of Management and the wider community of Blarney; all of whom help make Scoil Chroí Íosa the unique, warm and welcoming school that it is.

Junior Infants had a wonderful Cosy Day at school! Everyone came dressed in their favourite pyjamas, cuddled up with soft toys, blankets and beanbags, and even built a fort. It was a warm, relaxing day full of smiles, laughter, and friendship!
Ms. Fitzgerald’s 4th class loved World Mental Health Day. They enjoyed working collaboratively to solve team challenges, paying each other compliments , clay projects, mindful movements and having fun together 🌞🌞
Classes in the senior building joined @fionaformanwellbeing a well known Wellness guru for a workshop about minding their mental health.
Mr. Carroll’s class enjoyed a lovely guitar and song session with Antonia, Keith, Michelle and Susan today, while sipping on hot chocolate, nibbling cookies, and relaxing in their cosy pyjamas to celebrate World Mental Health Day! 🎸☕🍪💛

Junior Infants cut out and coloured pictures from the rhyme Humpty Dumpty. They glued them onto their pages in the right order. Junior Infants are so good at sequencing 🌟 🌈

Maths on the move! 🚗✨ Ms. Walsh’s 5th Class headed outside today to tally the colours of cars passing the school and then turned their results into bar charts. A fun way to explore averages, mode, median and more! 📊🌈

Complete the form and upload the required documents (Birth Cert and proof of address) Attachments must be PDFs or images of type WEBP, JPEG, PNG or JPG
Click on the ‘Send details to school’ button at the bottom of the form. You will then receive an email confirmation that your application has been received.
