Our website hopes to provide an insight into the everyday life of our school, including the wonderful and unique opportunities that are afforded to the children of Scoil Chroí Íosa. The website also contains lots of valuable information for parents and those in the wider community.

 Scoil Chroí Íosa is a provider of high-quality education to students from Blarney and its surrounding area. 

As a professional body of teachers, the staff are committed to working in partnership with parents to ensure every child reaches their full potential in a happy and stimulating learning environment. The school aims to promote full and harmonious development of all aspects of the child. We foster a love of learning, working to the best of one’s ability and developing a sense of respect and responsibility amongst our pupils.

With the above in mind, I am always extremely grateful to the hard work and goodwill of our Parents, Pupils, Teachers, SNAs, Secretaries & Caretaker, as well as our Parents Association, Board of Management and the wider community of Blarney; all of whom help make Scoil Chroí Íosa the unique, warm and welcoming school that it is.

Hard at work exploring the counties of Ireland! Ms. Walsh’s 5th class have been studying maps, gathering facts, and preparing to create posters on different counties 🇮🇪
Come and join us for our Open Night, Thursday October 2nd! 7–8pm, with sensory-friendly time from 6.30–7pm. Meet our staff, tour our facilities and discuss your child’s educational needs with us! You’ll get the chance to see lots of exciting activities taking place that our pupils do each day!

🍂✨ Our 6th Class enjoyed their very first outing to Blarney Castle & Gardens today! They set off on a beautiful nature walk, exploring the changing season, studying the different falling leaves, and finishing up with some amazing leaf print artwork. 🍁🎨 Such a fun day of learning outdoors! 🌿💚
Colourful pansies were planted at the office entrance today by Junior Infants today to give a bright, cheerful welcome for visitors to the school!
Junior Infants had great fun today building with blocks! They worked together to make towers, bridges, and patterns while exploring colours, counting, and shapes. It was a playful way to learn early maths skills and use their imaginations. Lots of smiles and laughter all around!

Mr. O’Leary’s Rang 1 agus Rang 2 are all delighted to be back to school! They really enjoyed reading ‘Where The Wild Things Are’, which was the inspiration for our fantastic climbing wall mural. They loved their trip to the halla to act as ‘Wild Things’ and bring the story to life!
