2nd/3rd Class Butterfly Project 🐛🦋
Ms O Callaghan’s class had the exciting opportunity to witness one of nature’s most magical transformations — watching caterpillars grow into butterflies! The children carefully observed each stage of the life cycle, from tiny caterpillars to chrysalises, and finally, to beautiful Painted Lady butterflies. This hands-on science project sparked curiosity, encouraged care and responsibility, and brought a sense of wonder to our classroom. We ended the experience by gently releasing the butterflies into nature, celebrating their journey and the learning we shared together.

A beautiful story! Erin walks to school last week with a schoolbag crafted by her great-grandfather 75 years ago—a timeless link to the past. Once belonging to her nan who wrote us a lovely letter to explain the origin of this special bag. This bag carries more than books; it holds generations of love, legacy, and the enduring spirit of learning.
