Scoil Chroí Íosa now closed until April 19th due to Covid-19
On March 24th, Taoiseach says all restrictions that were announced in Washington DC are extended until Sunday 19 April. This includes closure of all educational institutions including Scoil Chroí Íosa.
Scoil Chroí Íosa closed until March 29th due to Covid-19
As you will have heard on the news, schools are closing from today until 29th March.
Please see statement from the Dept of Education & Skills (linked below) which gives advice about social contact etc.
Each teacher has prepared a list of homework for children to work through over the coming days and weeks.
We understand that this may be difficult for some families but we ask that you encourage your children to do their best with the work laid out. We have information from the Department of Education listed below for talking to your child about Covid-19.
A little every morning would be best to keep their routine as normal as possible.
It is our sincere hope that all of our families, staff and school community look after themselves and each other during this time.
